“ Real authentic down home food! Made with love!!! I enjoyed this place and the food so much..large portions, meat falls off the bone..and the spices had my mouth in a sensation of joy. The Mac and cheese tasted amazing..like something grandma would cook. This place didn't miss a beat and I drove from Houston TX to try it.....and I'm coming back again and again! ”
“ Favorite selection: Curry Goat I went with my dad. We ordered 2 small combination plates (jerk pork w/chicken and oxtail w/curry goat). Both plates came with rice and peas, fried sweet plantains, and steamed cabbage. We also ordered 2 slices of rum cake and 1 small size cup each of cucumber juice and pineapple ginger juice. Total meal cost: 71.38 My dad (who is puerto rican) really enjoyed the meal. This was a welcome surprise since he can be very picky, especially when it comes to food that isn't puerto rican. He especially enjoyed the jerk pork, saying that it was some of the best pork he ever had. I personally thought it was well seasoned but a bit dry. The chicken was well cooked and had a nice sauce, which paired well with the fried plantains and rice. The steamed cabbage was well seasoned and had a nice light crunch. The Oxtail was very flavourful and tender. The Curry Goat was delicious, one of the best cooked goat dishes I've ever had. The 2 drinks were very refreshing. We actually got to sample 3 of the fruit drinks offered, which was really nice. The rum cake had a soft texture with coconut flavor and cherries, a very nice dessert. We were also given extra sauce on the side for the curry goat and oxtail along with our order. I appreciate this since it showed the consideration the staff had for us as customers. Overall, both me, my dad as well as mom enjoyed the food, and I could definitely see myself coming back. Would recommend ”

I was here in Killeen for business for a week, and in that time I had the Large oxtail plate for lunch and dinner 3 times. Every facet of the meal was authentically seasoned to perfection. There was no inconsistency with each and every plate I received, all were equally good, right down to the cabbage. With the price of oxtails per pound these days being so high, the portions were large and fairly priced. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to all my fellow foodies. ”

“ Never had Jamaican food in my live, so I didn't know what to expect. It was fantastic! The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and the food was tasty and unique, in a good way. They have plenty of options but not so many that you're overloaded. I don't do spice, so they pointed me to the BBQ chicken, which was great. Not like typical Texas BBQ, really unique with a great sauce. My friend likes it hot though so he ordered the pork, and was still feeling the heat an hour later. The rice and beans (they called them peas ) was really good, and the cooked cabbage and fried plantains was equally great. You get a lot of food if you order the 'large' portion. Lots of people we're ordering ahead and taking out. Good stuff! ”
“ We ate here twice during our two week stay. It was a hit both times. I mean this is really well-cooked authentic Jamaican food. The rice even reheated without becoming dry and hard the next day. The portions are excellent for the price. My only regret is their was no sorrel either visit. The vibes from the tunes playing and space available for dining are great, too. ”

“ This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, lots of space to serve many guests. There was no wait. I walked up to the counter to place my to go order. The menus were on the counter and one was displayed on the overhead screen. I decided on a comb meal which was enough to last me three days. The oxtail and curry chicken with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the cabbage. I'm Jamaican and realized that every cook/chef prepares his/her meals differently. Would definitely visit this restaurant again. ”
